Alex Oka - Glyphs - Music Video
We had the honor of shooting a video for Alex Oka as part of his latest album release, Crocodile Island. Oka’s music career began to blossom while living in in New York where he became immersed in multidimensional music scenes, and became infatuated with broader experiences himself. His music has an electronic base, but he has been able to blend a unique style of vocal tones creating a mystic vibe dissolved in a vibe-y electronic beat. This style of music seems to be where one would go after years of dancing in sweaty electronic venues and wants to remember the good ol’ times but also feels like wanting to take a nice walk in nature.
Whenever I sit and talk with Alex Oka, the conversation is ever-evolving. He is great at not letting a roadblock get in his way, and I think thats why we get along so well. I do believe that most artists and creatives can take note on that, and learn to let an idea snowball instead of melt away.
