See See Mini Moto Show official recap

The sun was shining, the beers were cold, and the windows were shaking. It was a perfect evening for a whirlwind of Wrestling, Mopeds, Motorcycles, Tatts, Hard Rock, Classic Cars, Skate ramps, and a special appearance from Dillon, The Pickle. It seemed like we assembled the perfect array of activities for the short attention spans we continue to experience as our thumbs begin to ache by swiping left on so many things in this cruel dark world.

If you came by the show, you probably heard the wrestling ring smacking the ground from blocks away. I find an unusual amount of satisfaction in watching very large humans bring unnecessary pain and drama to each other. NW Pro Wrestling had the honor of settling drama they had with Dillon, the Portland Pickle inside the ring. I personally was shocked when Dillon did a backflip from the top ropes.

The speakers were blasting with the sensual sounds from local bands Slender Gems, Time Rift, and Nick Normal. Outside, we got to witness a Slow Race in the lot, where you could also find Pleasure Burger, See See’s Famous hot dogs, and a DIY Skatepark provided by FamJam. The Puddle Cutters raffled off a very sexy custom bike (the green one with cool headlights), and congrats to Davis for winning that one.

We want to give a special shoutout to Nico’s Ice Cream for keeping us all cool on that very bright warm sunny day. If it wasn’t for his sweet fruits, I wouldn’t be able to get through the summers. Are there any other events you’d like to see us collaborate on? Let us know.
