Interview with Wokeface

One of the most iconic street artists in all of Portland, Wokeface is certainly the most recognized. Her art is incredibly brand-able, which has helped accelerate her popularity. With    a poppy and simple style, Wokeface’s pieces can easily be translated into the world of fashion. Her “all-seeing-eye” is more recognizable than her name, and you’ll see it on just about every piece she creates. She noticed her art was gaining popularity after realizing people were taking street pieces off the street not because they were offended, but because they wanted to keep them for themselves.
