Interview with Mental Ben

I met Ben Adams at a show that his work was featured in at Compound in Chinatown PDX. His work was so clean, conceptual, and exactly what I was attracted to at that moment. As we got to know him, we were amazed at how seasoned an art vet he really was. Having worked on the James Brown Raisins from the ’90s to working on the majority of Laika productions.

He made a point about how Halloween was a frustrating time for him because everyone would ask what he dressed as, and he would explain how he made up a character. Not many would like that but in his eyes, his character was more interesting and fitting for him than what was already out there. That, my friends, is a reason to pay attention to this guy.
