Interview with Iron Glacier

When it comes to Tattoo work, you can follow a few paths- the Traditional style, the modern style, Tribal, Stick and poke, and then there’s Retro 3-D style.

Iron Glacier tattoos with strong pigment and bold lines. His work demands a double-take and it should be known that this particular style isn’t the simplest to achieve. Skin “hamburger-ing” or ink pooling up under the skin. Everything about the tattoos is fun except for the actual tattoo session. And buying new bed sheets when your Saniderm breaks.

The style that Iron Glacier has perfected is unique, and for the bold. It was a pleasure getting to know him on a personal level, and happy to see him break the mold of your average Tattoo artist.
