When we first began interviewing Street Artists in Portland, I was instantly curious about how to bring RX Skulls on. He is arguably the most wide-spread artist in the scene and his iconic style is never mistaken. We might see a trend of skulls in the street art world, but his skull is all based on one specific skull, and then made into a linoleum cut which is later digitized into a vector and screen printed to its final sticker form. Needless to say, he has a very special approach to his work.

You might wonder how he can continue to make work, year after year, with the same skull image. He does so by incorporating it into new forms, playing with new ideas, and keeping it as interesting as possible. He is NEVER bored and always evolving an idea to take it further and further. The more I was able to see how he works, the more respect I have for the guy, and I’m always curious what he’s going to make next.
